NIC SITHOLE

Nic Sithole is a South African ceramicist with over 30 years of experience. His grandmother was a ceramicist and since a young age, Nic has been interested in making objects out of clay. As a child, Nic and his cousins had to look after their family cattle, during this time he made herds of oxen out of clay and left them in the sun to harden. This marked the start of his love for ceramics. Nic started creating work under his own name in 2007. Sithole’s work has been included in various solo exhibitions and group shows over the years.
